Dyed Deviled Eggs

I seen a picture of these on Pinterest and really had to try them.  I’m not sure if we did them right since the picture didn’t have a link or the recipe but hey nothing wrong with just winging it.

Deviled Eggs

All you need are hard boiled eggs, your favorite deviled egg recipe, water, food coloring, and a several cups or small containers of water.

How to Dye Deviled Egs

We lined a cookie sheet with paper towels to drain ours on.

Slice and remove the yolk from the eggs

You can go ahead and use the yolks to make your favorite Deviled Egg recipe.

Get your containers and put about 1 cup of water in them.

Add 5 -6 drops of Food coloring to the water and mix them up.

Place your halved egg white in the dye.  Let them set until they are the desired color.

Once they are the color you are wanting remove and place on your paper towel lined cookie sheet.  Allow them to dry a bit and then fill them with your Deviled Egg mixture.

Place in the fridge to chill until ready to serve.

Enjoy your colorful Dyed Deviled Eggs.

Give them your Heart with this Easy to Bake almost Sugar Free Valentine Cake!

What you will need

Sugar Free Cake Mix (flavor of your choice) I used White Cake Mix

Sugar Free Icing (flavor of your choice) I used Vanilla

Sugar Free Instant Pudding Mix (flavor of your choice) I used Banana

10 Fresh Strawberries

Red Food Coloring

Heart shaped sprinkles

Start by washing your strawberries and cutting the stem area off.

Chop strawberries to your liking. I like mine 3 long ways 3 side ways cuts. Set aside.

Mix pudding according to directions on the package. Set aside.

Mix cake mix according to directions on the package but DO NOT use water or oil. Pour all of pudding mix in instead. I REPEAT NO WATER OR OIL. The pudding will make the cake extra moist.

Mix in food coloring and strawberries. Mix well to make sure all the cake batter turns pink/red.

Pour into a round baking pan and the rest into a square baking pan. (I didn’t have a square pan so I did a rectangle and after baked cut into a square)

Bake according to directions on cake box.

Let cool for about an hour. If you used a rectangle pan cut a small portion off to form a square.  Cut circle cake in half. Place into a heart shape.

Put the icing on and decorate as you please.

That special someone will love you even more after seeing how much you care. And the kids will enjoy it and not even know its almost completely sugar free!

Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich Pudding

I normally use Chocolate Graham Crackers and it is a lot better with them.  I did not have any so I used cookies.

Items Needed

2 Medium sized bowls (one to mix and one to build the pudding)
1 box of Vanilla Instant pudding
2 cups of milk (for the pudding)
1 can of Condensed Milk
1 bowl of Cool Whip
1 package of cookies (I used Keebler Vienna Fingers that I scraped free of the cream) OR use 1 Box Of Chocolate Graham Crackers

Place one half of your cookies or graham crackers in the bottom of a bowl .

Mix your pudding according to the directions on the box. Once you have it mixed well add in your condensed milk, mixing well. Finally add in the Cool Whip and Mix it in.

Once everything is mixed well, you can start to layer your pudding on top of your cookies. Pour half of the pudding over your cookies in the bowl and then lay down the next layer of cookies or graham crackers.

Add as many layers as you’d like. Once you are finished you can crumble some of the cookies over the top. Place in the fridge for an hour or two and then enjoy! Yummy!
