A Tissue Paper Heart Card is super simple to make.
Is your Valentine’s Day budget a little small this year? I know mine is especially with a little one on the way. My oldest loves doing these kind of crafts since they are completely hands on.All ages will enjoy this craft.
Here’s what you need for your Tissue Paper Heart Card:
1 piece of construction paper, any color
4-6 sheets of tissue paper, cut into 1″ squares
white liquid glue
pencil with eraser
cup, plate, etc to place glue in/on
Step 1: Fold construction paper in half to make the card.
Step 2: Trace a heart on the front of your heart ,as a guide, with a pencil.
Step 3: Take 1 piece of your cut tissue paper and place in your hand or on the table. Next, place pencil, eraser down, in the center of your tissue paper square. Wrap the tissue paper around the bottom of the pencil.
Step 4: Next, you will dip the tissue covered pencil into the glue. Slightly wetting it.
Step 5: Starting at the top of your heart, place the slightly gluey piece of tissue paper on the construction paper.
Step 6: You will continue Step 5 until the heart is completely outlined. You can stop at this step or continue and completely fill in your heart.
Your Tissue Paper Heart Card is now complete!!
Suggestion: Alternate different colored tissue paper to make your card more distinctive.
